Users of our library know that we have an entire section dedicated to historic magazines which we make available as photocopies. Everyone can immediately scroll through Der Eigene (from 1896) and the Jahrbuch für sexuelle Zwischenstufen (from 1899), or Die Insel, Das Freundschaftsblatt and Die Fanfare.

Until now we only had photocopies of Die Freundin, a “Wochenschrift für die ideale Frauenfreundschaft” (“weekly magazine for ideal female friendship”), from the years 1924 to 1933. Now we are the proud owners of six additional original editions. Dr. Andreas Sternweiler found them and gave them to us for our archive.
