KAOS GL ile yürüttüğümüz arşiv-katalog projesi bağlamında, Türkiye’den gelen ilk posta KAOS dergi arşivini müzemiz arşivine katmaktan mutluluk duyuyoruz. Bu arşivde KAOS GL’nin süreli yayını olan bütün dergilerin yanı sıra Türkçe kaynaklara ulaşmak isteyen queer topluluk için bazı rehber kitaplar ve el kitapları da mevcut.
Bu tip ortaklıkların arşivden öte politik dostluklar ve direnişler yarattığını belirtmek ister ve geleceğin olası belleklerinde queer direniş hatlarını belirginleştirecek daha yoğun birliktelikler temenni ederiz.

In the context of the archive-catalog project with KAOS GL, an LGBT*QI+ liberation publication from Turkey, we are pleased to announce that SMU has recieved the first part of KAOS GL’s magazine archive! In addition to the periodicals of KAOS GL, there are also some guidebooks and handbooks for queer community members who want to access resources in Turkish. Such partnerships across political and geographical borders are essential to creating political friendships and resistance beyond the core concept of the archive. It is our hope to collaborate more closely with such organizations in order to determine potential pathways for queer resistance in future ‘memories,’ which we are constructing today.
