Queer History Month presents: Our perception of voices and singing is shaped by heteronormative ideas. Queer artists develop different strategies to make this visible. In the workshop, the multimedia artist and singer Sanni Est addresses the adaptation of the voice to heteronormative ideas and the consequences for the health of queer people. The repression of vulnerability through adaptation takes on a special meaning in this discussion, where she searches for strategies to overcome it.
We want the workshop to be a safe space for queer people, especially queer BiPo.
September 8, 3pm to 7pm. Registration necessary: Please register here: firstname.lastname@example.org
