The photographer Amos Badertscher has portrayed the Baltimore hustling subculture with thousands of pictures for decades. The Schwules Museum is now showing nearly 100 of them in Berlin. Curator Jonathan David Katz (University at Buffalo College of Arts and Sciences) will talk with Katrin Köppert (Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst Leipzig) and Peter Rehberg (Schwules Museum) about the aesthetics of Badertscher’s work.
