On May 17 – the International Day against Trans- and Homophobia  the Schwules Museum* celebrates its first birthday at its new location (Lützowstrasse 73) with a big surprise cake! The party will also feature a „Speaker´s corner“  in honor of this year’s IDAHO motto:  „Free Expression Zones!“.

Come celebrate with us on May 17 at 3pm and bring a present! We´ll be particularly pleased with financial donations, objects for the collection or contributions for the birthday buffet. All contributors will be granted free admission to the exhibitions between 2 and 6 pm.

After that the „Long Night of Museums“ starts at 6pm. The same ticket is valid for entrance on May 18, the International Museum Day as well.
