The Schwules Museum proudly announces this year’s highlight: on 6 December 2004, our 19th birthday, the long-awaited permanent exhibition exploring the history of homosexuality in Germany will be opened.
The permanent display offers a compact overview of gay history from 1800 to 1970. It will deal with inner contradictions and overall developments, show the connection to other social reform movements and instances of co-operation with individual women as well as lesbian organizations.
