Gaming communities are often drawn very one-sidedly – the one-hour documentary “Gaming in Color” shows a different picture: the film accompanies and portrays lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans gamers and takes us along in gaymer culture and at events by and for queer people in the video game industry. “Gaming in Color” was successfully crowdfunded and asked George Skleres, Colleen Macklin, Matt Conn, Naomi Clark, Joe Stern and Jessica Vazquez, among others, about their activism, video game projects and the gaming experiences of LGBTIQ* players. Excerpts from Gaming in Color can be seen in the exhibition – on this evening the film will be shown in full length. There will be popcorn and the opportunity to chat after the film in a relaxed atmosphere.
