flashmob: Queer Joy

4. December 2024 15:00

What does queer joy mean and how does it strengthen our resilience? As part of the exhibition ‘Strategies of Resilience – Insights into the Life of Eberhardt Brucks’, we invite you to a one-hour dialogue with curator neo seefried in German spoken language. We will look at spaces of joy – those of Eberhardt Brucks in the 1950s and also those of the artist Rein Vollenga. Together we will explore and discuss how queer joy can function as an expression of community, self-realisation and resistance to oppression.

The event will take place in German spoken language. Registration is not necessary. Participation is free, you only have to pay for admission to the SMU itself.
