In the exhibition “With Legs Wide Open: A Whore Ride Through History“, activists show us how they campaign for self-determination and the abolition of discriminatory laws. They use various artistic strategies to do so: Drag performance, video art, sewn art, painting, photography and agit prop. In the workshop, we will explore what contributions sex workers have made to queer culture and what their demands are. With cameras that we bring along or your own cell phones and with pen and scissors we create our own works of art: digital and analog.
This creative media workshop is aimed at queer people and allies aged 16-21. It will be held in German and is free of charge.
Please register at fuehrungen@schwulesmuseum.de. In the registration email, please write us a sentence about yourself, the name you would like to be addressed with, pronouns and your age.
