Young authors will present their texts from the “Writing Workshop for Queer Beginners” of the Schreibende Schüler e.V.

For one weekend the students discussed what it means to write “queer”. They worked with some of their own expereiences and looked to society to try and understand: Which roles and norms do we already see enough of? What do we wish for from love, from relationships between people and their identities? What can they express in their own writing? The goal of the workshop was to work from the realities of life of LGBTQI* people.

Author Moira Frank (Sturmflimmern, 2016) will also provide some perspectives on the world of queer literature.

To close, the students and the public will have the opportunity to discuss and exchange expereiences.
