This is an event with black American artist Isaiah Wolf. He will talk about classic US-American superheroes, their skin-color and why there are so few black characters out there. Isaiah Wolf is famous for his black sheroes/heroes collages. The focus of his art and of talk at the museum is on racism, representation and post-colonial attitudes in the comic world.
The talk will be in English and costs 4€ entry.
The talk will coincide with an exhibition of four new works by Isaiah Wolf in the café of the Schwules Museum*. His collages will be shown from May 18 to June 6.
