PRODUCING porno is an exhibition to highlight certain aspects of gay pornography, both past and present. It also analyses the significance of pornography in a social context with less and less taboos while pornography is acknowledged as part of cultural life. Porn is no longer dirty but, rather, an item on the agenda of the producers of culture. Explicit sexual acts are firmly implanted in the film and arts industry. Our display consists of XL photos, spatial and video installations as well as silde- and video projections. On Sunday afternoons, public “workshop talks” will be held with actors and producers, sellers and experts in the industry discussing relevant issues.
